Skylark
Skylark is our 2023 McLouis Fusion 360. Based on a Fiat chassis, she’s a ‘coach-built’ style of motorhome with a van-shaped front end and a spacious living area behind.
Fully equipped for life on and off-grid (thanks to solar panels, water tanks and gas), she’s ready to take you wherever you want to go.
Sleeping accommodation is 2 double berths: one lowering from the ceiling over the saloon and the other a rear transverse bed. Both comfortably fit 2 adults.
The saloon seats 4 with ease so you do not feel cramped or crowded whatever the weather. The galley area (with sink, hob, oven and large fridge/freezer) is separate to the saloon, with ample space to cook and prepare meals.
A large rear garage can be accessed from either side of Skylark, with enough space for up to 4 adult bikes, table, chairs and any other toys you might want to bring along. Skylark has a freestanding awning and floor mat to create the comfort you need on site.
Skylark can be driven on any full UK driving licence.

Kestrel
Kestrel is a 2023 Pilote G740 Evidence. With a Fiat chassis, she is an A-class build offering greater internal space which has been to ultimate effect including a rear cabin with island bed.
Externally she has a large garage with access from either side, a roll-out Thule awning and a great boot locker on the passenger side for wet gear and walking boots.
A retractable step gives easy access into the saloon where you have a large dining area (including 2 swivel captains chairs) and a separate kitchen area.
The shower and loo sit between the rear bedroom and saloon and can be completely closed off for privacy from either the main or rear cabins. A second king bed drops down over the driving area to provide the second double berth.
Capable of off-grid stays, Kestrel has a solar panel, leisure battery and LPG gas for running the heating, shower, fridge/freezer and cooker.
Kestrel requires a UK C1 class driving licence. If you passed your test before 1997 you have this automatically, after that date you need to take an extra test.

Please allow 3-5 working days for your Campsite+ code to become active (the code will enable booking from the point of activation, but stays may only be booked for your rental period).
What comes as standard?

Full insurance for 2 named drivers (once DVLA and address checks have been completed). Skylark and Kestrel) can both be driven on standard driving licences (for drivers aged 25-70 years) with less than 3 points on their licence. A deposit of £1200 (equivalent to the insurance excess) is required before departure.
Please note: Kestrel requires a UK C1 driving licence as she is over 3.5T.
We have roadside recovery assistance available (UK and Europe) in the unlikely event that you should need it.
Tyre inflation and European Breakdown kits included.

We include a starter household kit of washing up liquid, sponges, tea towels, a few loo rolls and kitchen towel.
We also include Method cleaning products for multi-surface and glass, polish, dustpan and brush and a broom. There is Solbio fluid for the loo and sinks.

Unlimited wifi (UK only), TV with Roku so you can log into your subscription channels.
Pricing structure
Low Season – November to February - SKYLARK: £99/night; KESTREL: £115/night; BOTH: min 3 nights
Mid Season – March to May/ September and October - SKYLARK: £150/night; KESTREL: £165/night; BOTH: min 4 nights
High Season – June to August - SKYLARK: £185/night; KESTREL: £200/night; BOTH: min 5 nights
Cleaning Fee - £50/booking
Additional cleaning fee for dogs (dogs are not automatically allowed, must be with prior consent) - £35
Admin Fee (if charged) - minimum £25 and £25/hr thereafter
Daily mileage allowance - 170 miles/day ; additional charge of £0.32/mile above that
Payment policy
Time of booking: 30% or £200 (whichever is greater) to secure the rental.
45 days (6 weeks) prior to booking commencing: remaining rental fee (eg 70%) paid in full.
If the rental period is starting less than 6 weeks from date of booking then the full amount must be paid.
£1200 security deposit taken 4 days prior to rental period commencing.
No booking may commence without the T&C/Contract being signed and/or DVLA/ID checks being completed beforehand.
Cancellation policy
Up to 6 weeks prior to booking – forfeit deposit payed (either 30% or £200)
Less than 6 weeks prior to booking commencing – forfeit full amount.
We recommend that you book personal holiday/travel insurance to cover risk of unavoidable cancellation.
We reserve the right to cancel the hire, if at the commencement of the hire the driver(s) licence(s) are invalid, not according to the conditions set out in T&C or if the required documentation is not provided upon request. In these circumstances the total hire charge will be forfeited.
